Shocking and a waste of money

Two weeks ago, I had my first (but CERTAINLY not last) conversation with an agent. I inquired as to the procedure of being withdrawn as a dependent from a policy and becoming the principle member of my own policy. I completed an application and was informed that the agent would confirm withdrawal. A few hours later, there was still no call placed and thus I called in to confirm the proceedings. I am told that the principle member must call in and so she does. I then call in once again to confirm my policy to be activated from 1st March. There is no record of my withdrawal from any previous policy. I am then told to send a copy of my ID to Discovery and so this goes on for a few days. Eventually I receive a welcome pack with my details. According to Discovery, I am now my mother's spouse and have two dependents (seriously??). I then request an amendment. My Vitality is then completely cancelled. I am told to transfer R185 to Discovery's bank account after which I am told I still cannot have Vitality because it is linked to my life policy (which I do not have). I am then granted a new Vitality product which I cannot use because it is under someone else's name. The saga continues
