Shocking

<p>Was admitted to hospital on the 3rd of Nov. Was in such turmoil just to find out discovery is refusing to pay my hospital stay. Then the Dr at Life Casternhof, bless his heart took the agent on and suddenly they agreed to pay for my stay. How is it possible that you could have a problem to pay for someone's visit when they tell you the person is in the trauma unit. If that Dr was not there i would probably have been send either home or a public hospital and this after i have been supporting Discovery for the past 2-3years. My company moved to another medical aid and the minute i started and another company i went back to Discovery. That was a big mistake on my part course i ended up having to ly in that bed and wait for someone to make a decision on my life and that of my baby. The excuse was that i have been with them less then a year and can't be admitted to hospital. What happened to emergency admittance huh.I am so disgusted that i was even thinking of changing my medical aid to another one. Now i understand why some GP's refused this medical aid</p>
