Severely Ill wife removed from Medical Aid scheme

<p>Good day</p> <p> </p> <p>My wife was added to my medical aid effective 01 March 2017 , on the second week in April 2017 she fell severly ill. She was hospitalised for a week with an authorisation number # ********** 2 and treated by the local hospital. Two weeks later I received calls from the hospital and other related doctors requesting payment for the time my wife was in hospital as they claimed that my wife resigned from the scheme which was not the case. I called the medical aid to enquire and was told that one of her doctors confirmed that she had been seen by him and thus have not disclosed this to the medica aid therefore they did not process the claim and removed her from the scheme. I went to see the doctor and he completed a letter on his practise letter head stating that he had never treated my wife in January 2017 as per the medical aid and had seen her for the first time on the 03 April 2017. All of this correspondence had been submitted to the medical aid but at the end of last month they had returned all contributions made to them via my payroll. My wife is severely ill and needs medical assistance and I feel that there is an injustice done onto her by not allowing her the treatment that she requires.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have resorted to all measures but they were all infutile.</p> <p> </p> <p>Please help me...</p>
