**** service!!!!! Won't pay for valid chronic medication.

I joined Discovery medical aid a month ago and I want to run for the hills this is the worst experience of my life.....

I have spent more time on the phone and spent soo much airtime I do not want to be part of your Medical aid at all....................

When I joined your medical aid I was promised that my chronic medication will be covered by the medical aid.

At first I could not justify paying R4600 a month for my wife and I. But after I was told that you will pay for my chronic medication and my wife birth control I was sold.

After joining the medical aid my doctor sent my chronic medication forms through and I was told I would only be covered R70 rand on the one tablet and R75 rand on the other tablet.

After the appeals process it was said that my chronic medication does not fall on your list???

I have had hypertension since I was 9 years old. I have been on numerous different medications and my current medication works for me.

I will cancel this medical aid after just one month as I cannot justify paying R4600 a month plus an extra payment every month for my medication???????????

There are lots of types of medication available for hypertension how can you only pay for certain medication types if my tablets work for me.

All you want to do is make money... I have hypertension and you won't pay for my medication which is for hypertension????????? Does that make sense??????
