Discovery Health and Discovery Insure. My visits to hospital earlier in the year lead to major shortfalls in terms of doctors and radiology accounts. This gap was supposed to be filled by the medical aid and gap cover. It took quite a while for these accounts to be settled and only after reporting this to management these accounts were settled leaving me with the humiliation and continuous calls from the service providers for their outstanding payments. I am someone who have always paid accounts on time and this lead to great frustration. I would like to bring this to your attention to look at the level of service and the time it takes to resolve. matters. The same goes for the Insurance side. I have moved most of my insurance cover in terms of medical aid, personal car and home insurance and now recently business insurance to Discovery. Also resulting from a claim that I had on my vehicle in April 2022, my vehicle was damaged after striking one of the numerous potholes in Boksburg. My vehicle was initially taken to Mercedes to repair as my tire and mag wheel got damaged. In the process my bumper/spoiler got damaged and had to be repaired. Discovery advised that my vehicle needs to be repaired by Renew-it Bedfordview. The repair again was highly frustrating with regards to various issues in terms of repairs, communication etc. Before this I paid for the repair of my tire and mag from my own pocket and waited ages for Discovery Insure to refund me for this. Again its a time and service issue. Please address these issues and get the service that Discovery is known for back on track.
