selfish company not thinking about the people

Due to the pandemic that is currently taking place in world and us employees get pay cut I just found out that although we are getting the pay cut we are still going to pay the employee portion of discovery imagine I'm my pay of R4000 I still need to pay discovery his R2300 out of it what will my kids eat. I confirmed by calling the call centre and all i got is unfortunately. Why is discovery not willing like other medical aids to only accept the employer contribution because what is happening currently is no ones fault
