Self-payment gap *****

This year Discovery Health changed the way the self-payment gap operates. Before you used to paid the excess on medications and treatments as you made purchases and used services. This year without properly informing members they paid everything and added the excess to your self-payment gap. So once you reached the self-payment gap it was in our case almost 50% bigger. Then not everything you pay yourself counts towards the gap, so not only is the gap bigger, you go through it slower. The end result: you don't reach the other side and Discovery scores!
