I needed a Monofer Iron Infusion due to low iron levels in my pregnancy.

We followed proccess and submitted approval requests, which was approved.

Approvals *** Monofer vial 10ml 5783 Infusional pharmacotherapy: Fee for the Approved 206 Intravenous treatment: Intravenous infusions Approved

After approvals recieved, I scheduled the treatment.

I then got a bill, stating that the treatment will not be paid by Discovery.

What is the use of pre approvals and then them turning around and not paying 1 cent!!!!

1463.22 + 5014.56 = R6477.78 that the expect me to pay after they approved!!!!!!

If I was not so close to giving birth, I would have changed to another provider. Once my baby is here we will be changing to another company!!!!!
