Ruined credit record by listing me as a defaulter

I was on unpaid maternity leave, I never anticipated that UIF will take 5 months to pay my claim as a result my medical aid was not paid for 3 months. When I got back from work I contacted Discovery because they have been sending me letters that I owe them R44k on the very same day when I phoned I was told that was my last day to pay a balance of R12 155.00 in order for them to reinstate my medical aid and I was given 2 forms to complete & reinstate my medical aid and I can also make an arrangement to pay the outstanding balance, he sent me two forms which I completed and arranged to pay the R12 155K, this concerned me but he reassured me that it can be done because its two different department. I never got a response whether they accept my arrangement offer or not. when I contacted them to find my status of reinstating my medical aid I was told the discovery representative who said I can make arrangement gave me wrong information and they gave me until end of business on again to pay R12 155K, which I said I can only pay following day. After paying the R12155K they still declined reinstating, after 4 weeks of payment of R12155K then they decided to list me as a defaulter on ITC
