******* Medical Aid 10% annual increase and they still hate paying out

<p>So we ran out of medical aid funds not so long ago - which is really just a savings fund - Thank you Discovery for profiting off South Africans interest</p> <p>So what about the rest of the funds I pay to Discovery for Hospital admissions and emergencies... well apparently they don't want to pay for that either... so my son goes for Grommets (planned hospital visit) and goes to an approved Day Clinc within our network, beforehand I get an Authorization code and everything is fine – here’s me expecting to pay just for the doctors’ fees… but no Discovery surprises us all – yet again!</p> <p>Lo and Behold the hospital can’t get Discovery to cover the costs, apparently I am out of funds – thought that can’t happen with a Hospital plan, so apparently they don’t want to cover Hospital costs now too.</p> <p>Wonderful service Discovery, go ahead and increase again in 2018 your 10% again for 3 years running and you’ll find one less member.</p> <p>FYI – My claim reference number is ********** 512.</p> <p>I’ll be taking this to social media.</p>
