Rip-off

Once again these people are a complete rip-off. I have a Classic Core scheme. Got pre-authorization for a hospital surgical procedure by a Maxillo Facial Surgeon. He charged me R3559 for the procedure. Discovery who pre-authorized the surgery paid me R867 only. I phoned Discovery and spoke to a ***** who didn’t have a clue what was going on or why so little was paid. He said they paid the maximum for this benefit. How on earth in 2018 could a surgeons maximum cover only be R867? I cannot get answers and if this is what Discovery pays for surgical procedures then what am I paying them for? Bunch of charlatans- the financial services in this country are ********* and profiteering. Disgusted
