Ridiculous exclusions

So after being a loyal customer for over a year now, it's the first time being admitted into the hospital with a neck and back issue, my house dockter phoned for authorisation with a specialist and got it the specialist decided to admit me into the hospital, when the hospital phoned for authorisation they do not want to provide authorisation because it's n neck and back issue, this for me is just bad, I'm currently in the hospital and after staying the night now I have to find out I'm the one that is going to have to pay the bill, my question is why do I have medical aid for love and charity, I will definitely be switching to a different medical aid once I'm out of hospital, thanks for noting.
