retracted hospital auth

In the beginning of the year I was hospitlized. As per due process I was being admitted by my GP for the past 10yrs to Netcare Sunward Park. Auth was obtained from Discovery Health for the admission.

I have now been informed that Discovery Health informed the service provider that auth was withdrawn. Attempts to get Discovery Health to submit proof as to when they informed me, the client of the renegaded auth and that they stand by their initial decision has been met with deaf ears.

Netcare Sunward Park now want their monies for an account that was not paid by Discovery Health.

We all say that we "***-n-betaal" for our medical aid and policies. Discovery Health appear to have grown so big that they can now truly be added to the list of companies who take your monies with empty promises of looking after you.

I have been with Discovery Health for more than 10years, opting to stay with them when joining a Company that does not have healthcare for their staff.

Sadly, this experience has made me rethink my loyalty with my hard earned monies
