Request to pay my money back
I was requested to transfer an amount of R2888.00 into discovery to re add a dependent that was taken off just over two months at the time by myself. I was given a deadline from the KZN escalation team on or before the 31/01/2020.I done the payment on the 31/01/2020 and the payment reflected on myside on the 1/02/2020 that this amount was paid. An email was submitted. Due to the dependent not being diagnosed with anything, we opt not to go through with the medical aid for now. I requested yesterday for my money to be paid back into my person account as this money did not come from the medical aid group (company) After speaking to various ppl ,first I was informed by finance (Chester) it will reflect within 2/3 days ,we confirmed my own bank details twice with him and call centre agent, an I thought it was done, only to be contacted by Tasneem Amos and said finance cannot do it without signing 6 pages of "request to change bank details" forms....I am not changing my bank details, I'm not changing my claims/life/insurance eg bank details. I wanted to send proof that what they have on system or the acc details they got when they received the money is exactly the same account to be used to pay my money back in full. Why do I need to complete a 6 page that is not even halfway relevant to what I am requesting. It is easy to put a deadline on for premiums to be paid back ,where as the member did not even re-join the medical aid, and now I have to go through all this lengthy processes to get my money back into my personal account. Contact me, verify my account details and get this done please, its called innovation and dazzling clients which Discovery stands for through they core values, not refusing to pay my money back and let me sign 6 pages of irrelevant info, because I know somewhere someone is going to mess up the accounts with all products that I have with discovery like it happened in 2008.My medical aid is deducted through my company so all that is holding this payment up is to verify that my money is paid back into my personal account where it initially came from.
