Rejected maternity benefit claims which are part of the maternity benefit.

I am on the Discovery Health coastal core plan which has a maternity benefit. I have activated the maternity benefit during my pregnancy and recieved an attachment stating the benefits i have. However after submitting the claims countless times after my pregnancy for a gynae consultation which is exactly 6weeks from the date of delivery. Discovery refuses to pay. They also refused to pay an admission fee that the Netcare hospital requested from me on admission. Discovery keeps making new excuses and rules which was not sent to me when i activated the maternity benefit. I also have 2 paediatrician visits that supposed to be part of the benefit. I have paid the health care provider and tried claiming for that as well which has been rejected. Everytime i call through to query there is always a different reason and we are explaining the same thing to the claims department which resubmits the claim only for it to be rejected 2 days later . Absolutely dissatisfied with the service. We pay almost R4200 for medical aid and now when you need it they cannot get to the bottom of this and sort out the claim. I have given birth in July 2020 and its now September 2020 with none of the above mentioned claims being paid. Will be cancelling my discovery membership and taking my medical aid elsewhere!
