Refusing me medication from Chronic kitty
Unfortunately this is not a complimentary review. Despite me being on tyroid tablets for many years now and all my previous medical aids Bankmed, SABMed, and Bonitas all had my tablets deducted from the Chronic Medication kitty. I was forced to ditch Bonitas last year as I joined a company who has Discovery Medical Aid and despite my doctor submitting evidence and me having to go for bi-annual blood tests and my doctor increasing the dosage of the Eltroxin Discovery Medical Aid insists on deducting these monthly claims from my Savings. HOW EVIL IS THAT???? Now I have to pay for chiropractor sessions to relieve a migraine because my savings are kaput. There is dololo left

01 Sept 2021, 10:44My doctor has just emailed me the report from Discovery Health in April 2021 where they declined my thyroid tablets which my doctor has prescribed and increased the dosage which I have to take every day. If this is not chronic medication then God alone knows. So they are sooo wrong in saying we have never requested for this daily medication to be please be categorized as chronic since I was forced to join this medical aid when I became employed last year I April.
