Refuse to pay after giving Authorization

<p>Authorisation was given on the 9 February 2017 for a procedure that was meant to be performed on the 21 February 2017, AS per Discovery Medical Aid consultants they confirmed on 3 occasions that a 30day notice period is required for cancellation even if it is forced by change of employment . My employment contract was terminated mid january 2017 the termination of medical aid was ACTIONED on 20 February 2017, with TERMINATION date effective 31 January 2017 ( WHO DOES THIS????) No communication sent out to tell me that the Authorization given for the 21 February 2017 for a procedure to be carried out , HAS or WILL be cancelled . NONE of the Doctors or Hospital got notified. now i get told they will not pay for the procedure under Authorization Number : ********** 3.</p> <p>This is Totally unacceptable I wantDiscovery must pay for the entire procedure!!!!</p>
