Refusal to pay after having been given pre-authorisation

<p>Ref. No. ********** 516</p> <p> </p> <p>We were given the above pre-authorisation reference number for a Maxillo Facial operation. Having already been told that Discovery Health would not cover the procedure, we went ahead with the understanding that we would be liable for the surgeon's fee, whilst Discovery would pay for the hospital stay.</p> <p>3 weeks after the surgery, Umhlanga Hospital has just informed us that Discovery has rejected the claim, with no valid reason. </p> <p> </p> <p>We await one...</p>
