Refund required

At the end of August 2018 I removed my daughter as a dependent from my medical aid as she has gone overseas. The consultant that attended to my call advised that my last payment would be at the end of September seeing I was giving a month's notice. I then enquired how I needed to terminate her gym membership and he advised that this would be automatically cancelled when she was removed as a dependant under my account.

This morning I woke up to a debit on my account of twice the monthly amount from Virgin Active, which absolutely makes no sense. I called Discovery and spoke to a Nokubongwa who kept advising me that I was paying in arrears and that this was the reason for the double debit.

I am absolutely livid and request that the extra month's debit be refunded to me immediately as I would have called Virgin Active, if I was required to had your consultant not advised that this membership would be terminated as soon as the dependent was removed from my medical aid cover.
