R6600 pm and discovery won't pay for a hospitalisation!Discovery Executive plan a *******. Stay away.

I got involuntarily hospitalised last year at Rand clinic after an episode due to a serious mental illness. After I got discharged and trying to get back on my feet, I was bombarded by e-mails and calls from the hospital stating that my medical aid refuse to settle the whole amount for my stay, incuding some of the brain scans that were taken there. I called the medical aid and the answer I got was 'thats all we pay for', as if i am asking them to pay for some cosmetic procedure. It states on your executive plan that you cover unlimited private hospitalisation at any hospital. I am beyond dissapointed. Now I have to pay the R5000 shortfall needed by the hospital. I thought because i was paying such a huge amount i'd get the best service. Clearly not. I need to look for another medical aid.
