R3000 Discovery Monthly Premium Covers Close To Nothing For Me

I just need to know what are my benefits exactly if I can't go to dentist gynecologist or any other specialist. I don't have chronic.

What are the benefits for the plan i have because I pay everything cash ?

Im not prepared to talk to any advisor or go on an app or talk to WhatsApp, it hasn't worked for me. I'm definitely not going to call.

I just need an email telling me exactly what do I benefit from R3000 a month.

It seems I pay R36,000 a year for a savings of R5000-R8000 a year.

I pay R3000 a month just for me. I don't know what it covers.


1. I can't get my chronic medication. My doctor tried on B2B and I was declined.

2. I can't go to Gynaecology,

3. I can't got to the dentist.

4. I can't do blood tests at Ampath or Lancet.

5. I can't get medication when I am sick.

6. I can't go to the doctor because all the savings are gone.

7. I can't go to chiropractor or any other specialist.

8. I can't access my information on the app. I have tried so many times to ask Discovery that information doesn't show. It says I'm not a member of Discovery.

9. I can't even email and get proper information response.

Its such a struggle when I need to contact them.


I walk around with a medical aid card but it does absolutely nothing for me because I pay everything cash. Im so unhappy and frustrated Discovery medical aid because it basically does nothing for me.


I probably get savings of R6000- R8000 per annum but I pay R36,000 per annum. Plus I spend R1000 monthly for Chronic medication and Supplements.


What exactly can I use the medical aid for? What are the benefits because if I pay everything cash?

I never get feedback if I email.
