Quick to take your money but does not care about you

<p>We have been members of Discovery Health for 15 years, and have always thought them one of the better schemes, but no more. My husband, suffering from prostate cancer, is scheduled for a radical prostatectomy today. The first request for authorization was sent almost two months ago, and with regular follow-ups by my husband and the hospital and the doctor, nothing happened. After yet another phone call this morning, we have to hear that the person responsible for this authorization is lounging at the seaside! Shame on you Discovery!! With all the stress we have to deal with surrounding the cancer and radical treatment, we dont need this added stress! If anybody is considering Discovery, STAY AWAY! They are super expensive, and when you need them for something big once in your life, they ignore you completely!</p>
