Psychological Personality Disorder, Extreme stomach pains, headaches, spinal/ joint back pain, vision impairment

Dear Discovery, It is with the utmost disappointment that I write this. The hospitalisation was denied at Durbanville Medi-clinic on 23 July 2019, yet was approved at City of Cape Town Medi-Clinic during the week of 17 May 2019. I have been unable to function operationally as Director and Founding member of Highwave Consultants (Pty) Ltd and had to resign as an active director due to various medical diagnoses and reasons, yet after 16 Medical professionals and 38 consultation this year alone, Discovery Health has denied hospitalisation. I currently have 4-8 unbearable and painfull symptoms ranging from extreme primary bodily malfunctions to balance loss and short term memory loss. All information is available at various 2 x internists, 3 x psychiatrists, 1 x gastroenterologist, 1 x endocrinologist, 2 x counsellor's, 6 x pharmacists, 3 x psychologists and 6 x general practitioner visitations. I am the founder of 4 businesses and won't advise any of, my staff or partners and members to utilise Discovery Health and would instead use Bestmed or Bonitas. I have spent approximately R 960,000-00 in payments to discovery excl. The savings account over the past 15 years with an investment rate of 6-8%, that equates to approximately R2,450,00-00 and for the life of me cannot understand why these enormous amounts are being paid, yet medical help is not received. As a result, I will not book myself in at either Grootte Schuur public hospital or Tygerberg hospital for proper treatment to move forward with my life. If this is the case with the Coastal saver account, I don't even want to imagine the "temporary incapacity" application for the month of May and June 2019 to cover my salary. The department of health will need to be informed of this as well as the Medical Council of South Africa. This action from Discovery Health will be referred for my legal team for a re-evaluation of the contract or service level agreement as well as the broker to be informed, even if it just allows and helps another individual going through the same as I am. @Discovery Health, I advise you re-evaluate your vision and mission as well as policy documents and statements as the organisation does not offer security; it creates fear and confusion. "Fear can hold you prisoner like in my case, but Hope will set you Free."
