Promise is everything & at least understand your systems

I have asked Discovery Health to release my MSA funds end of July, by changing from classic saver to Core plan. I was PROMISED that my money will be paid to my account on the 12th December 2016. I called several (5x) times on the 12th December. The first call centre consultant was reasonable (Suzan), the other consultants are not interested in comprehending my query rather giving me their opinions. The last consultant I called on the day (~13:30) promised me that it is still 12th December and she guaranteed me that the money will be paid before the end of the day. To say the least, the money was not paid.

I called in on the 13th after 15 – 20mins I was told that the system has redirected my funds to my 2017 MSA and there’s nothing they can do since they are based in Port Elizabeth and the Finance team is based in Johannesburg. The call centre consultant told me that there’s nothing he can do until finance releases the funds, it’s a normal procedure that can take a day or two. TIME THAT I DO NOT HAVE.

Discovery Health does not care about the impact that their promise have on in customers. The y do not understand that business is based on PROMISE. Their call centre is not trained sufficiently to assist on such queries.

I am really disappointed on the terrible service I am experiencing from Discovery Health.
