Premiums increase and benefits are reduced

I would like to know how can the premiums be increased by 11.9% (R894 x 12 = R10 728 pa) which is way above CPI for 2024 and how the benefits can be reduced. The increase is more than a month's premium. I am referring to the benefits above the threshold that are now limited to R35 000. This is unacceptable and I would like to receive an explanation in this regard.
