Pregnant and unfairly treated

I am extremely angry and disappointed with Discovery health medical aid! I joined in April this year, I declared all my health conditions which was all clear according to my knowledge. Discovery granted me their medical aid with NO WAITING PERIOD!!! End of May I didn’t feel well and I went to the doctor who then told me I’m pregnant (very unexpected). I then decided to keep the baby and I registered with their maternity program called “my pregnancy “. Discovery health APPROVED my application with no problems! I’ve done tests, and 3 gynecologist visits which they’ve paid for under the same program!

Last week I decided to be proactive while I was figuring out the app and submitted the delivery date “pre- authorization “ . Yesterday I received a call from a consultant from them telling me they are declining my delivery at st Augustine’s hospital because I am on the 12 months “waiting period”. This is such a lie as I have all the papers if their approval on everything I’ve submitted. Now all of a sudden I’m on “waiting period “ ??? Very disgusting and suspicious behavior!! I can not be paying for medical aid and not be covered when it suits them!!!!
