Preauthorization service consultant

Unprofessional Recruitment Process

I recently went through the recruitment process for a preauthorization role at Discovery Health, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. Despite the role being advertised as a critical position requiring attention to detail and efficiency, the recruitment process itself was shockingly disorganized and opaque.

First, the job description lacked clarity about the responsibilities and expectations, leaving myself guessing about what the role actually entailed. The interview process felt rushed, and it was clear that the interviewers had not reviewed my application thoroughly. Questions from "young kids" were generic and unrelated to the skills required for preauthorization work, indicating a lack of experience and understanding about the role on the part of the hiring team.

Worse, communication during the process was abysmal. I waited two weeks for feedback, only to receive a generic rejection email without any constructive feedback. This lack of transparency and respect for candidates' time reflects poorly on the company's professionalism and values.

If this is how Discovery Health handles recruitment for vital roles, it raises concerns about how they operate internally. I would caution prospective candidates to think twice before applying here, as the process leaves much to be desired.
