pre-authorisation delay
I would like really like to know what exactly is the delay in getting authorization for my mothers surgery. Since 11 April no decision. She had multiple operations due to the same injury in 2020, and we didn't struggle getting any authorizations. We've been travelling to see same doctor last year as well. I spoke to the doctors office and the motivation for the operation was sent through to discovery. can you please attend to this so that we have clarity.

22 Apr 2022, 09:03She had surgery September 2020 under the same code that now needs a motivation letter. Luckily I took a picture of the admission sheet.We had no issues then but are struggling now. I'm told the waiting period is 3 to 5 days after motivation letter sent. It was sent yesterday according to the discovery agent I called earlier. This is very frustrating from people who have been loyal customers of discovery, maybe its time to move.
