I went to a dentist for a standard check up for my teeth. To my horror, after I had received my bill they had charged me R164.00 for infection control.

When I queried what that charge was for I was told for gloves. My concern here is that according to Discovery, the dentist can charge whatever they want as there are no guidelines as to what can be charged. I would have been ok with R10 for a pair of gloves that cost R1.70 but R164.00 is blatant *******. That is my money being ****** not only by Discovery for allowing such a charge but also by the Dentist itself.

I pay discovery for my savings account, they don't give it to me based on merit or because I am a good client. You give me a figure upfront which is paid for over a year.

Absolutely shocking to say the least. Keep it up Discovery you will lose a client.

I honestly wish we had better politicians and better corporates that actually look after our interests and not just their pockets. Feels like *******ion at the hights levels.
