Poor service Discovery Health

So disappointed with Discovery medical Aid.. Firstly... Since I upgraded my plan ,too date my limits have not been updated. Knowing my wife has cancer an is on treatment..this causes major problems all the time because no fund limits are located...reported if many time no one cares...sent it on Hello Peter...only respond I got Someone will be in contact with you..... .non too date. They just don't care...

Secondly, last week we where out Friday night. When my wife got a chest pain.. and the closest hospital at that time was Linkfeild..a Netcare Hospitals.. as I have a Delta Comprehensive Plan.... We proceeded to the Truma unit where they assisted her an requested her to be booked in. The hospital did an approval with Discovery but it requested a R9000 co payment. To my knowledge If you are on a Delta comprehensive plan an if is a life threatening emergency.(Chest pain) One can go any closest hospital and they will be No Co -Payment. We pay an monthly contribution to Discovery R14000PM for Subs just for 2 people. Which is alot already..

The doctor even confirms this was an emergency....but Discovery turns a Def ear
