Poor service
I cannot believe the level of service from both Vitality and Bank. I spoke to a consultant on the Bank side to ascertain and fami****ize myself on the requirements of having Vitality Rewards benefits and banking products. The consultant told me io to have Vitality rewards, I must have a credit card (gold in mt case) with one other banking product which was the cheque card option. He furthermore told me that I have to spend R2500 on the credit combined cheque facility p month so I subsequently moved my st orders from Fnb to Discovery Bank and that Vitality has to be debited on the discovery card. Now when you are looking at the rewards allocation on the credit card, it tells me that my card is not eligible for these rewards i.e. Clicks, Dischem, Travel (domestic and Intl), Active Gear and that need to upgrade to a higher level card. This leaves me furious that adequate info was not provided and that could not make an informed decision. Vitality: It is ********** the poor quality of the voice prompts by the answering service. You get to a point where you just don't get to speak to an agent and you have to key in your membership nr twice. You have no other option but to terminate the call and start from the beginning again. It takes ups to 6 min of holding on on a noble phone. Then when eventually you get to speaks to an agent, the line quality is so bad with breaks in the connection that you cannot hear/follow what the agent is saying or ruining the risk of hearing bits and pieces of an answer to your question. I will keep on complaining even if it means logging a complaint daily. BAD BAD BAD . Please listen to calls made by me in the last 2 weeks. HIV Voluntary Screening: I have not had Vitality for the past 5 years. I joined Vitality 2 weeks ago, again. I completed my HIV screening and as the t's and c's for points allocations states, you have to receive 7500 points for your initial screening and then 1000 points per year after. I was only allocated 1000 points for the initial screening, AFTER 5 YEARS. There was a 5 year gap in subscription. Medical Aid: There is a person with the same name as mine bit 14 years younger than me, staying in a different town, training with a different bio. Can the agents not double checking the info when processing a claim? The claim was processed on my profile. The issue was picked updated by me as some of my claims could not be settled because of an incorrect (error/wrong) claim that was processed. I had to provide evidence that I am the wrong person to whom the claim was paid out to. (This was rectified on my request) BAD BAD BAD.
