Poor service and administration
I was admitted for the procedure on the 4th of March 2025 after DHMS had given an authorisation number. Neither the hospital nor Discovery notified me that there would be a copayment, which qm assuming I would have had to sign for. A month later my savings are all gone and I owe R3800 and when I called the Call Center lady said all scopes have a copayment evening I go to their network hospital. This is disturbing especially since I should have been notified. Discovery claims that an email was sent to me. I asked for proof and the lady said she will send, it has been more than 30 minutes and I still have not received anything. This is very disturbing since I was denied an opportunity to agree before the procedure was performed. This is unprofessional and has caused a huge inconvenience for me. Discovery Administration has become very poor and pushing me to jump ship after being with them for years.
