Pmb - chronic

<p>Im really finding myself confused. Surely if you have a chronic condition then you should be covered for the pmb? Now i am told sorry we wont pay your childs asthma consultation because you used up the chronic and you not registered for pmb. What the hec?? Surely they go hand in hand. Why must you register again if you already approved on chronic. Now how am i suppose to be at ease to and know i can rely on my medical aid to look after us. Seriously. There are just more and more road blocks to get what you pay for. My son's have asthma. Why is it not automatically covered under pmb??? Seriously guys come on. I feel so let down. Where must i find an extea 800 rand to pay the doctor for something i thought was covered. Why are we not told if your chronic is a pmb please complete the form at the same time when you apply for chronic. I feel like just not using discovery anymore. I need a medical aid that is there for us not agaisnt us.</p>
