PMB benefits not paid?

I have had a tough year psychologically and have been in hospital after a breakdown as well as having 11 ECT's which didn't work. I have eventually found a psychologist that is helping me but my psychologist savings ran out in October. My psychologist submitted forms for extra PMB cover which was approved and confirmation was sent to me on 16 October 2015. I saw my psychologist on the 3 and 10 Nov and both claims were not paid. Discovery now says that those extra PMB sessions that were approved are now backdated to my sessions I have had since July and now those extra sessions have been depleted due to that. What the hell? Its not like I'm going every week to chit chat and have coffee, I have a problem and I need HELP!!! Would they rather I land up in hospital and then they would have to cover everything and it would cost them a hell of a lot more? All I want is to feel better and Discovery is denying me that help!!!
