PicknPay and Vitality

I'm so disappointed with Discovery Health/Vitality. I'm 66 years old and suffer with COPD. Despite this, I walk 5kms every day and NEVER get rewarded for this. I cannot afford gym membership. I did have a gym membership for many many years but lost my membership when I went to live in Dubai for one year with family. For Vitality to "work" for me, I have re**** on my Healthy Food Basket to earn Discovery miles/cash back. I get R500 back each month.Discovery Vitality have now decided to drop PicknPay from their list of Vitality benefits. Only Checkers and Woolworths are recognized by Discovery Vitality. As a pensioner Woolworths is too EXPENSIVE for me to shop there and there are NO Checkers stores in Melkbosstrand where I live. The nearest Checkers is 15kms away. It's pointless wasting petrol driving back and forth each week to purchase my fruit and vegetables and other Healthy food basket items I'm on GOLD status at the moment and have now had to CANCEL my Vitality as it no longer holds ANY BENEFITS FOR ME. Loyalty counts for NOTHING with Discovery Health/Vitality. PicknPay were the very first store to offer Healthy food basket benefits and now Discovery drop them like a ton of bricks. Discovery are ALWAYS pushing clients to remain HEALTHY and now take away my only means left to remain healthy. How many 66 year olds have their Discovery age and actual age matching?? Sadly, it's goodbye to Discovery Health and Discovery Vitality after 21 years. Time to find a new Medical Aid
