Paying R8000 pm for medical aid.. But they don't pay for anything!!

<p>We are on the discovery classic priority plan and pay R8000 pm.. A R15000 in savings account which is our money covers basically everything.. X-rays, doctors visits, prescription meds you name it..! A year ago I went to trauma unit.. Had to pay doctor R500.. The hospital sent me a pathology bill of R800.. So this is suppose to be in hospital and is suppose to be covered.. You call in they always have story to cover themselves!! Really frustrating!! Recently my son was referred to an orthodontist who happens to be on their list of preferred specialist.. We sent quote in for authorization and wait we are told your savings is finished so they won't pay for it!! So must the savings cover everything then.. Really considering saving my R8000 every month and keeping it for medical emergencies.. Atleast I will have a savings account of R98000pa that I can use for medical issues.. What a joke and a waste of money this medical aid is..</p>
