Pay for non-slip shoes needed

<p><span style="color: #555555; background-color: #ffffff;">My son Riaan was operated on. Both his feet were operated on and was placed in plaster of parris. We were told that they do not put the heels on the plaster any more and he will need the shoes to walk. Why doesn't the hospital cover, cover these shoes they are nessassary? We were provided with these shoes in hospital and we're just told that the doctor doesn't put any non-slip heels on the plaster of parris. </span></p>
