PATHETIC SERVICE

My Child was admitted in hospital. The Dr. did all sorts of tests, one in particular was a milk scan. My baby was 7 weeks old. The amount for the scan was R5813.73. The claim was wrongfully submitted to my savings benefit, instead of my hospital benefit. My savings account at this stage, only had R2688.21 left, so Discovery paid the practitioner the R2688.21 out of my savings account and send ME a bill for the rest of the monies outstanding. I phoned Discovery twice. After the second phone call they paid the outstanding amount to the practitioner and then put my saving account into arrears of R3125.52. ONCE AGAIN I received a bill to pay it. I then phoned Discovery for a third time and explained. I was told to go onto the website and log a complaint, which I did. Discovery then phoned me again and told met that I need to pay the outstanding amount. I then logged a dispute. It's been almost a month and I still get the same bill and no one has resolved my query for the past 3 months. I pay close to R7000 a month for this pathetic service I receive! This is also not the first time that this has happened to me. DISCOVERY, I PAY MY MEDICAL AID EVERY MONTH! THIS SCAN SHOULD HAVE BEEN PAID OUT OF MY HOSPITAL BENEFIT! THIS IS WHY I PAY FOR A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR ME AND MY FAMILY! FOR YOU TO COVER US WHEN SOMETHING HAPPENS. SO DISCOVERY... I WILL NOT PAY YOU THE R3125.52 WHICH WAS SUBMITTED WRONGFULLY FROM MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT. I DO NOT OWE YOU ANY MONEY, YOU OWE ME MONEY FOR TAKING R2688.21 FROM MY SAVINGS INSTEAD OF TAKING IT FROM MY HOSPITAL BENEFIT! I am currently above threshold and still they are not paying for doctors visits! REALLY? WHY AM I PAYING R7000.00 A MONTH?
