PATHETIC SE NEXT CERVICE FOR MY DECEASED FATHER
I CALLED DISCOVERY CLAIMS DEPARTMENT FOR INFORMATION ON UNPAID CLAIMS FOR MY DAD WHO PASSED AWAY A MONTH AGO. I ALWAYS HAD CONSENT ON HIS MEMBERSHIP. THE FIRST CONSULTANT ASSISTED ME AND THEN IN ERROR TRANSFERRED ME TO CLIENT SERVICES. WHEN I ASKED TO GO BACK TO CLAIMS, THE NEXT CONSULTANT I SPOKE TO REFUSED TO GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION. I SPOKE TO DESHNIE PILLAY WHO WAS UNABLE TO EXPLAIN WHY ONE CONSULTANT WOULD HELP ME AND THE OTHER REFUSED. ZERO CONSISTENCY WHICH MAKES SUCH A LOSS EVEN MORE DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND DISCOVERY MEDICAL AID DUE TO DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Thank you for your comment.
We are unable to provide any information on your father's membership due to the fact that any consent form is no longer valid in the case that the main member is deceased. As discussed, we will be able to further assist you once we have received the letter of executorship. I understand that this is not the feedback you were looking for however I can assure you that this is as per legislation to which we need to abide.
Regards
Anil
