Pathetic list of Doctors, pathetic response, pathetic policy

I have had endless trouble trying to find out what I'm covered for through their app and website. I had a hard time changing information on my policy because I couldn't access my profile online in the first place. But my main gripe with Discovery is that they have a list of Doctors that they will pay on their scheme and I used one of these Drs. Dr Scribante was only concerned with making as much money as he could and getting home as early as he could. Therefore he performed an unecessary emergency forceps delivery on me without my consent, causing a third degree perineal tear. He also strapped my legs up before allowing me to push, which is an incredibly outdated and counter productive practice. When I emailed Discovery with my complaint, I have heard nothing back.

So, they force you to use certain doctors in order to be covered, but they take zero ownership for the practices of the doctors, zero investigation into complaints and dont even seem to care when the doctor clearly takes advantage of your medical aid cover in order to make more money. So, Discovery, this way of doing things with Doctors is costing you more money.
