Pathetic extender benefit - or actually no benefit

So every year discovery decides to increase your premiums, and decrease your benifits. They advertise thay you get 6 dr consultation after your savings have run out, however, they have made this process impossible! You have to first go to a networked pharmacy, who then decides whether or not you need to see a doctor. Then they will refer you to which ever dr they choose (not you) This is utter utter nonsense. I have phone over 15 drs on their so called network, NONE of them accept this benefit. NONE. So in actual fact, when you were able to go to the dr 6 times a family in the past, they have decided to change the rules for this in a year where health is of utmost importance! Well done Discovery, I already cancelled my insurance with you this month due to your unacceptable increases. Now you show me how pathetic your extender benefit is as well.

After spending over R130 000 for the year on medical aid for our family, With NO hospital visits. It really does make financial sense.
