PATHETIC DISCOVERY!!!!!

I wish I can take away that one star!!!!!!!

Discovery is PATHETIC BEYOND WORDS!!!! I have to have a procedure done on Friday, 14th. We email them the estimation from the Doctor to Discovery pre-authorisation on the 31st of January, my husband also called pte-authorisation to confirm the email. To my surprise when I called on Wednesday the 5th NOTHING has been done for authorisarion!!!! Emailed Oncology eith the same estimation on the 5th and followed up on the 6th and the 7th. It wad now escalated to the Case Manager at Oncology. I was told between 24 to 48 hours for an answer on the authorisation. Called again today after lunch time and NO authorisation. Now I must hear it is a complex procedure that must me done and that my case is at the medical advisory team ... they take between 3 to 5 days before authorisation might be given. 5 days expires on Thursday ... my procedure must happen on Friday!!!!!!! I had cancer in my mouth which was removed last year February. I keep on getting inflammation/infection where the implants are in my cheek. I am in excrutating pain 24/7!!!! I did a survey saying my issue is not resolved ... what did Discovery do about THAT survey ... like my authorisation F..KALL!!!!!!!!!!! And note they know that I will be on a waiting period if I want to go to another medical aid!!!!!!! They take your contribution every month but when you need THEM they show you a middle finger!!!!!!!!!!!!
