Pathetic!

<p>I'm been with Discovery now for almost 10 years. </p> <p> </p> <p>Discovery Health has provided me with additional cover on my chronic illness benefit were they pay for my test and medication. Nice benefit if they actually stick to what they promised!</p> <p> </p> <p>I've been struggling with Discovery Health since 2010 to get my claims paid. They just deduct it from my savings account even though it should be paid from my chronic illness benefits. </p> <p> </p> <p>Everytime I phone the call centre I need to explain the situation over & over again and actually had to send them the email which they sent me to confirm the benefit because it is not on their records! I've had to resend them the email 10 times already!! Every phone calls takes an hour of which they promise to sort out everything! </p> <p> </p> <p>The last manager I spoke to (Bongi Ndlovu) personally phoned me in January 2017 to say she will work on it and sort it out for me. It has been more than a month later and still no feedback from Bongi. I have left her 5 messages to call me back and sent almost 10 emails and still no reply! </p> <p> </p> <p>The service & admin from Discovery Health is pathetic! I'm paying thousands each month to have my medical aid with them and they can't even pick up a telephone or send an email to provide feedback. </p> <p> </p> <p>Ampath actually phoned me to tell me what is going on, not the MANAGER that promised personal attention to my case that I've been trying to sort out for 7 YEARS!!!!!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>The cover they provide is really great but please don't expect any service from Discovery Health.
