Pathetic!

I was referred to an oncologist on the 21 Jan 2016. The Oncologist, Dr Michaelis requested that I have a PET-CT scan done. I was registered on Discovery's Oncology Programme, received a call yesterday from Keshan Moonsamy advising my registration was done. Dr Michaelis had sent my details to Morningside Hospital and I received a call this morning advising me that because they are not on the network of providers under Keycare Plus, this will not be covered 100% by my medical aid. I understood and called Discovery. Spoke to Malika, who transferred me to Samantha or then transferred me to Kwanele. All I needed to know was which hospital under my scheme can I have the scan done at and will be covered. He gave me a list one of which was Linksfield and Jhb Gen. Jhb Gen's PET-CT machine is not working and Linksfield said they would assist provided my Oncologist sends docs and medical aid authorises. I have just received a call from a case manager at Discovery's Oncology department and was told I have to go to either Steve Biko or Jhb Gen! How the hell can incorrect information be given on such a delicate matter or does Discovery just not care?What is the damn purpose of medical aid
