Oxygen concentrator- Chronic cover

So I go approved for a oxygen concentrator(after 2 days of trying to get the process from Discovery) only to find that no one has stock for the rental as per the medical aid scheme. They only have oxygen canisters available. I then called Discovery health to request that the chronic be changed to a canister and was told, sorry we can only approve the concentrator. So in this very bad Covid situation we are all in, Discovery revises to assist by changing the approved oxygen. So instead of helping patients, it seems they would rather let them suffer at home with no help.
