Over Charging

<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p> </p> <p>I received a letter stating that I owe Discovery R890.90 for a payment to MADAMBANA PM.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am slightly confused. This doctor claimed over R1000 from discovery initially for services rendered in March. (Note I only saw this doctor once)</p> <p> </p> <p>Discovery made a payment of R890.90 into my account to pay this doctor and said that I would need to settle the difference.</p> <p> </p> <p>I see from my claims history, that this doctor re-claimed for services rendered in March 2017 for a lower amount – which Discovery then paid.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I ask, who is at fault here?</p> <p> </p> <p>Discovery is at fault for double paying a claim and not picking up that the same doctor was paid, the same amount, for the same service in March 2017.</p> <p> </p> <p>Now I receive this letter, to immediately paid a debt to Discovery. “Stating that I have an amount to settle with Discovery.”</p> <p>You make it sound like I am a ******** *****ing discovery’s money.</p> <p> </p>
