Outstanding claim

On the 6/11/15 I had a procedure done& my Doctor who is Dr Kalu was paid in full but his assistant doctor Dr Danckwert was only paid six hundred &some odd rands however his claim was R2800. I called discovery on the 10/11&was advised the procedure code was incorrect. This went back&forth as the doctor's room said this was correct but discovery said otherwise. I made numerous calls as the consultants promised to investigate but not coming back to me. The last call to DH was on the 14/02& I spoke to a supervisor called Edley Maharaj who promised to investigate, it's almost a month&I have not received any feedback. *********** agents &supervisors. With each call I made I get different reasons for the short fall. The doctor's room advised that DH doesn't want to pay for 0018(BMI issue) because of my weight the doctor can charge this& I am liable. I did everything by the book&so why was I not told I shouldn't join Discovery as they will have issues paying due to my weight. I do not have an M.D to be in a position to ask what the doctor is doing especially during an Op. Why did I get hospital auth if it is followed by all this hassel. Very disappointing service &they claim to be the best
