Out of touch Discovery Heath

So my daughter turned 21 last year and I had to proof that she is registered and studying at university for her to be allowed to stay on my medical aid at a ridiculous cost - no problem. This year the same story, but unfortunately Discovery Health is so out of touch w.r.t. what is happening in the real world. I would expect them to know that due to Covid, ALL universities are registering late this year. (only in March) They insisted on receiving the proof before the end of Feb. I therefore contacted them several times, stating that registration is late this year and that I will send it as soon as I receive it early March (***). I RECEIVED NO REPLY TO THIS COMMUNICATION. They just went ahead and removed my daughter from my medical aid, without responding to my mail or anything. This is disgusting service. What if my daughter comes into an accident today? Could they not talk to me and discuss, and give me another two weeks grace or alternative options? For goodness sake, I'm after all paying the full adult dependant rate for her in any case??? I find the way Discovery handled this extremely disgusting. I wish my workplace allowed me to take my business elsewhere. I also find it very concerning that Discovery Health is not aware of the situations caused by Covid.

Apologies to Discovery Heath, apparently the problem is not with the administrators, but with my own company's medical scheme (SABMAS) rules.
Everyone in the country had to adapt due to Covid, but not them. They could not give their own members two weeks grace to adapt to the late registrations of all the universities.
I however feel that as administrators, Discovery had a big role to play here….would have been nice if Discovery educated the SABMAS scheme a bit? They are after all the appointed administrators who are supposed to be the interface between the medical scheme and the members. So it still doesn’t explain why my Ref**** wasn’t addressed with me or the medical scheme?
At the end of the day my dependent was just removed and put at risk without any discussions or feedback to my requests as per above mentioned ref.
(Still not sure if the issue is with the Scheme rules, or with the administrators not administrating?)
