Oncology, PMB and claim queries

Dear Discovery, My mom has been diagnosed with Amyloidosis and whilst you guys have been brilliant in covering her treatment to date, I have concerns that no one has contacted her to advise she is on the Oncology benefit, no communication has been sent to her to know her benefits and no feedback from the Oncology Case management area for her queries sent. For the PMB Benefit, we are not aware of her ICD 10 code for claims either. We have Lancet and Ampath sending my parents threats to hand them over daily. We have also emailed your areas with no response. My mother is 76 years old, she is not coping well on the treatment and doesnt have the capacity to call into the call center to get help and thus emailed but no response to date. Please can her diagnostic claims be paid back to her? Please can the outstanding pathology claims be settled and resolve it with the providers directly? We are certain there is no ICD 10 codes on their for her two registered conditions and creating confusion. Please can the scope query sent to DCO Oncology be sorted out and responded to as co payments were paid.

Please can we just get some help with these claims. My father has Parkinson's disease and the daily messages from the service providers and emails have caused him so much stress that his shacking more and more. My mom is so stressed about the claims as well.

Discovery you have been so good to my family thus far and to my spouse and myself, please can you continue to do so for my elderly folks. I write on their behalf. My wife , Crystal , can be contacted as she deals with the claims on *** or my mom directly.

Client Jenny Marie Meyer, Medical aid number *** / *** Emails sent below with no response or feedback or payments or reimbur*****ts that we can see from a claims transaction history:

All diagnostic claims was sent, all queries as sent. The concerns are the pathology accounts that are unpaid.

Please help my mother, Jenny Meyer. You can contact her on ***, she will properly hand you over to my wife who does her queries. If you can send a consent form to *** for her to access the details then I can have it signed,

With much thanks and appreciation for looking after my family. Anthony Meyer
