Oncology approval waiting period too long

Discovery Health Oncology department appears to be very inefficient with regard to approvals/registrations. Cancer is a life threatening illness and this department does not priorities benefit applications knowing the severity of this illness. Apparently it takes 5 days to approve the registration and a further approval is required on the treatment plan before the patient actually gets treated for cancer. I have called multiple times attempting to get approval for my dads illness and still have not yet received an approval.
